Part I: Chapter 5, problem 63 and 71.

· For both problems, develop algebraic models and spreadsheet models. Python model is not required for these problems.

Part II: Develop a Python model for the following extended case of the transportation problem.

· Extended Transportation Problem: Assume that Grand Prix has a fourth plant that can produce and ship to regions 1 and 2 with unit costs 120 and 135. This plant can produce up to 300 units. Develop a Python model to find an optimal strategy for Grand Prix.

· Note 1. Please use the attached “Answer Sheet- HW2.xlsx” to prepare your submission. You need to complete this Excel file and submit it on Canvas.

· Note 2. In the attached "Answer Sheet – HW2.xlsx" there is a summary sheet where you need to paste your final results/answers. Your spreadsheet models should be in two separate sheets (in the same file).

· Note 3. Your algebraic models should be placed in the summary sheet of the "Answer Sheet – HW2.xlsx".

· Note 4. Upload the completed Python code file on Canvas along with the "Answer Sheet – HW2.xlsx”.

Please note that Google colab link IS NOT ACCEPTED, ONLY ipynb files are accepted.
