Use of Artificial Intelligence(Al)Tools in your Assessment:Your module leader will explain to you if and how Al tools can be used to support your assessment.In some assessments,the use of generative Al is not permitted atall. In others,Al may be used in an assistive role which means students are permitted to use Al tools to support the development of specific skills required for the assessment as specified by the module leader.In others,the use of Al tools may be an integral component of the assessment;in these cases the assessment will provide an opportunity to demonstrate effective and responsible use of AI.See page 3 of this brief to check which category use of Al falls into for this assessment.Students should refer to the UCLguidance on acknowledging use of Al and referencing Al.

Section B: Assessment Brief and Requirements
Individual Weekly Log
The purpose of this work is to give you a record of your own development and understanding of the topics covered in MSINO002 Principles of Strategic Management module.It covers the MSINO002 learning outcomes which are:
· Understand and apply fundamental concepts and frameworks of strategic management to analyse
business environments,including assessing competitive forces and market dynamics
· Develop the ability to formulate effective business strategies by integrating internal capabilities
with external opportunities and threats to achieve organizational objectives
· Explain and evaluate principal strategic,operating,environmental issues facing organisations
In this work,to perform well,you need to do the following:
● Read all of the assigned readings on Moodle
● Attend all the lectures and seminars
● Engage in lecture and seminar discussions and weekly exercises
As you do this,you need to write up on a weekly basis the key lessons that you have learned from the week.The specific questions willbe given to you on Thursday of each week 2-9(excluding week 7).
These questions cover the material that we study each week.
You need to stick to the word limit of approx.500 words per week so make sure to use your words wisely
and do not just list bullet points without proper explanation.
You need to do this for each of weeks 2-5 and 6-9(excluding week 7),so there is a total of 7 entries in the work.
The work is to be handed in via the Moodle Submission Box under Assessment tab before the deadline.
You will be marked on:
· Content understanding and relevance [30%]
● Application of tools and frameworks [30%]
● Originality and creativity [20%]
· Presentation (document aesthetics)[10%]
● Referencing[10%]

Assess the coherence of Trader Joe's strategic narrative.
·Internal consistency:How well do Trader Joe's strategic choices align and strengthen each other?
Do they fit together to form a cohesive system?
· External consistency:What is the logic behind how Trader Joe's creates value for its customers?
Does the strategy make sense in relation to the external environment and customer needs?
Explain the importance of mutually reinforcing choices in strategy.
· Why is it essential for a company's strategic decisions to support and reinforce one another ratherr than exist in isolation?
