Coursework 1 Details
This is an Individual assignment
Submission date: 12 Sep 2025, Friday, 2359h
• Design a marketing poster to announce and promote the launch of a new digital business service (choose an existing small enterprise, i.e. SME)
• Adopt the appropriate format and resolution for the relevant digital platform.
• Build one to appeal to the target audience and have the relevant Call-to-Action elements to ensure successful conversions
• Include annotations and quick explanatory notes to the key poster elements
• Your digital poster should be informed by relevant and credible research, including academic journals, industry reports, and current marketing trends. At least 5 references
• While you are not required to include citations on the poster itself, you must submit a short rationale (100–150 words) explaining your design choices
• Where to submit: Upload to Blackboard Turnitin
• What to submit:
• One Digital Poster: you may use MS Powerpoint or Canva
• 100 to 150-word writeup of your rationale: use another slide to prepare this
• Your poster submission should have the following:

Coursework 2: Group Presentation
• In this coursework, you aim to set up a new business
• Market Research
• Analyse the latest market opportunities, in-demand services, untapped gaps, etc
• Analyse the digital consumer’s buying habits and engagement behaviour
• Analyse the latest technology trends with regards to new digital businesses
• Synthesize the key findings together to create a new digital business opportunity
• New Digital Business Pitch
• Your team will pitch for a new digital business opportunity
• The pitch must clearly explain how it specifically addresses the key findings in the market research
• Your team must also showcase how the new digital business could possibly work (both operationally and from the customer’s perspective)
Your Actions:
• Form. your group ASAP: 5 - 8 persons, and enter their full names in the Excel file in Blackboard
• Indicate the person who will lead the group with “leader”
• Suggestion: have a mix of people from different backgrounds such as countries, work experience, and more
• Maximum number of slides: 15 (excludes the cover page, content page and list of references)
• Think about this: Who is your audience you are presenting to?
• Presentation must be well researched, properly structured, succinct, informative, supported with images and research data/evidence
• The research for this paper should be based upon a balanced mixture of academic research journals, industry reports, sustainability trends, statistical data and current affairs where appropriate (at least 10 references)
