MODELING OF CYBER-PHYSICAL SYSTEMS
SPRING 2019
FINAL QUIZ (QUIZ 6)
Working individually create a unity based simulation involving 10 moving parts from your team’s moon mission project context. Meaning you can use CAD models from that project files.
However, simulation itself has to be completely different. Each student has to demonstrate following aspects of the simulation:
Simultaneous and sequential motion of several parts:50 p
Demonstrate use of collision detection and hierarchy principles:50p
Students can ask lab assistants for help if necessary.
Due Date: May 6 at 10 am
Deliverables
Files have to be uploaded by 9:00 a.m. on May 6th. The deliverables should contain
1.Executable and source code files
2.A short five-page PowerPoint print out summarizing what was programmed in the simulation.
You have to clearly identify where hierarchy and collision detection were used and what is the benefit of both these programming principles.
REQUIRED: EACH OF YOU NEED TO EMAIL THE INSTRUCTOR BY TUE APRIL 30 AT 10 AM OUTLINING WHAT WILL BE THE NATURE OF YOUR SIMULATION TO ADDRESS THE ELEMENTS OF THE PROGRAMMING IN UNITY SUCH AS
SEQUENTIAL MOTION
SIMULTANEOUS MOTION
COLLISION DETECTION
HIERARCHY
IF THIS EMAIL IS NOT RECEIVED, THERE WILL BE A PENALTY OF 30 POINTS
